Modern Wedding Photographer in Paris
A modern wedding is not about following a script. It is about making choices that feel right for you.
More intimate. More intentional. Less focused on conventions, and more focused on meaning. Less about perfection, more about connection.
As a modern wedding photographer in Paris, I work with couples who want their wedding day to feel lived, not performed. Couples who care about how the day unfolds, how it feels to be there, and how they move through it with their people.
My work is built around your experience first. The photographs grow from what you live, not the other way around.
What “modern” means here
Modern does not mean trendy. It means conscious, flexible and personal.
A modern wedding can be
more intimate, more intentional
less focused on conventions, more on meaning
less about perfection, more about connection
more about experience, less about performance
There is no single model. There is only your way of doing things.
My role is to adapt to that, to help your day stay fluid, and to document it as it truly happens.
You do not have to do things the traditional way
You do not have to spend an hour lining up guests for stiff group photos if that is not your thing. You do not have to repeat traditions that do not make sense to you. You do not have to turn your wedding into a performance just because “that’s how it’s usually done”.
Some couples want a few group photos, fast and simple. Some want more. Some want almost none. All of these choices are valid.
A modern wedding is about choosing what you keep, and letting go of what feels heavy, forced or unnecessary.
I help you think about your timeline in a way that serves your experience first, not the protocol.
Posed photos, without stopping your day
I do love posed photos. Especially when they are relaxed, elegant and actually feel like you.
The difference is how they fit into your day.
Instead of taking you away for one long session that cuts you off from your guests and from what is happening, I often suggest breaking couple portraits into several short moments throughout the day.
A few minutes here. A few minutes there.
Different light. Different energy. Different atmosphere.
This way, you get a rich variety of images, both natural and more composed, without ever feeling like your wedding has been put on pause for the sake of photos.
Your day keeps flowing. You stay present. And the images come from real moments, not from interruption.
Experience comes before protocol
A modern wedding is not measured by how closely it follows traditions. It is measured by how it feels to live it.
If something matters to you, we keep it.
If something feels imposed, we question it.
If something creates stress instead of joy, we find another way.
This is not about breaking rules for the sake of it. It is about making conscious choices, and building a day that feels lighter, more fluid, more true to you.
Your photos will not be the result of a rigid schedule. They will be the result of what you actually lived.
Photographing the rhythm of your day
Most of the time, I work in a documentary way, observing, anticipating, and letting things unfold. I step in when it helps, I step back when it matters.
I pay attention to
the energy of the room
the small interactions
the in between moments
the way your people connect with you
the way the day naturally breathes
This is how your story takes shape, not as a checklist of moments, but as a sequence of lived experiences.
Images that feel like memories, not performances
Your gallery is built as a story, not as a collection of “best shots”.
I select and edit your images with care, focusing on coherence, emotion and rhythm. The editing is natural and timeless, respectful of light, skin tones and atmosphere.
The goal is simple. When you look at your photos, you remember how it felt to be there.
